Best Practices

Design

  • Maintain sufficient contrast between QR and background.
  • Leave a quiet margin (quiet zone) around the QR.
  • Do not make it too small (at least 2x2 cm in print).
  • If adding a logo, use a high correction level (Q or H).

Implementation

  • Try QR code with various scanning devices and applications.
  • Provide a clear call to action, such as "Scan for discount".
  • Make sure the destination link is mobile-friendly.
  • Use vector format (SVG) for high quality printing.
